Arts & Craft Room
The art and craft room is the hub of the artistic community at Watermark. Active participants engage in painting and drawing, sculpture and pottery The annual Art & Craft show provides the opportunity for residents to hold an exhibition to display their works to the broader village community, their friends and family. We have had many fine artists at Watermark and many beautiful pieces produced and traded.
Our own in house “gold class” cinema allows residents to watch movies and major sporting events on the big screen. The latest releases are right on your doorstep. Regular movie screenings are held and residents are encouraged to use the cinema privately with their respective family and friends.
Enjoy a game of billiards, snooker or pool in the billiards room. A dedicated room with the ambiance of the “private club”, the billiards room is a wonderful retreat for a quiet game or a private practice.
Cafeteria and Cooking Classes
Eating is one of life’s true pleasures and essential for good health and well being. The dining experience at Watermark is a particularly important part of our social culture. Cooking classes are also a very popular event at Watermark offering residents a beautiful lunch and the know how to create it at home. Our wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ evenings are always great fun.
Health & Wellbeing
Tai-chi, controlled resistance training and walking are just some of the fitness activities available at Watermark. The fitness centre is available for residents to use individually in their own time or alternatively join one of the weekly classes. Our highly qualified gym instructor knows how to motivate people, instruct them to prevent injury and aid them to extract the most out of their workouts. Enjoy the peaceful serenity of our professionally landscaped gardens. There are walkways through the gardens with rest areas and seats positioned at each feature point. There is a wide variety of plants and fauna that show spectacular colour during the spring and autumn periods. For our garden lovers there are dedicated vegetable gardens, herb gardens and a number of bay leaf, lemon and lime trees available for picking by our residents.

Castle Cove Library & Community Room
Watermark residents are also fortunate to have the Castle Cove Library located on the premises. Operated by Willoughby Council, the Library stocks in excess of 6,000 items with collections including fiction, non-fiction and AV material for adults and young children. The Community room is also a regular meeting place for active book club members, literary groups and presentations from a diverse range of community groups.
Watermark’s resident workshop is fully equipped with a range of machinery and tools, allowing residents to create woodwork or metalwork items.
