Welcome to our May construction update on the building progress of your new apartments.
Great progress has been made on the site this last month with scaffolding being dropped to most of building A, allowing us a glimpse of the amazing size and amenities of the apartments as well as the great district views.
Plasterboard work is nearly complete, painting is continuing and excitingly the built-in-robes and kitchens are now being installed. With these interior finishes well underway, the sense and vision of luxury, light and space is very apparent.
Tiling to the bathrooms continues and the first balcony tiling with the beautiful large format tiles has commenced. Shower screens are being installed and plumbing fit-off is starting.
External works to Boundary Street are underway to renew the footpaths, kerb, gutters and landscaping. We are hoping the temporary traffic restrictions are finished in the next couple of weeks and thank the Boundary Street residents for their understanding and patience whilst this work is underway.
Landscape work designed by the talented ‘Somewhere Landscape Architects’ team has commenced, and some amazing stonework walls are now visible.
With the scaffold being removed from between the buildings, the steelwork for the glass roofing to the terrace level shows how the natural light will bring the generous terrace level to life, with its build in planter boxes and exciting facilities that are being built, such as the wine cellar, art and craft room and the builders favourite – the golf simulator. The huge private storage spaces are also accessible on this level and the ceiling heights here must be seen to be believed!
